My mother, my wife and my two children were injured when they were hit by a tractor-trailer driver. We had never had a lawsuit and didn’t know what to do, how to pick a lawyer or how to put our lives back together. At first we hired a lawyer who claimed he could get us a good settlement. However, as time went on, it was clear that he was in over his head dealing with one of the largest trucking companies in the Nation. That’s when we decided to hire Cook Law Group and that made all the difference. We chose Matt because he was recommended by another lawyer who said that Matt was one of the top trucking lawyers in the State. We got to see that first hand. Matt and his firm filed a lawsuit shortly after we hired them and began to take the Company’s defense apart piece by piece. Matt proved that the Company turned a blind eye to safety, ignored its own safety policies, and paid bonuses to drivers who had terrible driving records. Matt took depositions of the Company’s highest ranking officers and proved that what happened to us was the result of profits over people. Matt kept us informed, gave us solid advice based on his 20 plus years of experience and put the fear of God in the insurance company and trucking company. Ultimately, if you are going through this situation of a personal injury lawsuit, you really need someone who knows how to handle these cases. I cannot say enough good things about Cook Law Group.
